How to Make a Holiday Wreath 2022
How to Make a Holiday Wreath 2022-Hey everybody. Now that Thanksgiving is over Aaron and I are in full Christmas decorating mode. So today I'm going to show you how to make a fresh Reef to hang outside. I already have a couple reefs hanging on both sides of the garage and a wreath on the front door already. But I have this empty spot right under a porch light where I thought it was a really pretty to have a read so I'll show you where I'm going to put that one on all done at the nursery where I work. We bring in lots of beautiful greens, during the holidays. We do a couple classes on how to make Garland's and wreaths and it's always really fun. Paxton, we're pretty much making fresh fruit every day. Right now. I even made a horseshoe-shaped brief today. Yep, over shaped read. If you've been following us, you'll recognize a lot of these steps from the waitress video.

We did a while back. It's really similar to that project, but it's a lot easier because this time we're doing with fresh greens, rather than that dry and brittle week. So to make my wreath. I'll be using a tenant reform, paddle wire, Falco's and a hot glue gun. And then for the green selection, I brought Home. Some Halle Berry's really, pretty some noble. Fir some cedar Princess, Pine and red twig dogwood from my backyard. A couple things that I found really helpful is if you don't have access to really nice dreams, save the branches that you cut off the bottom of the Christmas tree. Those are perfect for this kind of project. And also a hot glue gun is not essential for this project. But I really like to have one plugged in and ready to go because it's really nice. If you've got little holes or you want to add in more berries somewhere, you can always

Exit with a little hot glue before I begin reconstruction. I
always like to cut all my pieces into smaller easier to handle sizes. It also
makes the construction a lot quicker. If you do this leg work first, a lot of
times, the greens will come in this huge piece and obviously our wreath isn't
that big? So I'll make Cuts right along the main branch there and cut off
pieces like this or so and then I'll just make piles of each type of my green.
And it makes remaking really quick making a Reese's actually really easy. All
you have to do is take your pad. I'll wire and you'll thread it through the
side of your form. And then I twist mine around a couple times and then twist
it back to itself. And then I'll take the whole thing of paddle wire and I'll
twist it around the form a couple times, really, really tight. And then we
leave it attached. I'm just going to let it set right out there. The wire will
be attached to the entire time. We're making the race, we won't cut it until
the very end to start the actual Reef. Part will grab a little bit out of each
one of our pile. So, I've got a little piece.

Toward the outer part of the wreath, just like that. And
then we'll wrap it with the wire again, a couple times, really, really tight.
Just like that. If you have loose ends like this, you can cut them. So it's a
little bit easier to stack your bundles later. And then the third bundle will
do exactly the same again, Pine fir. Cedar. Red twig dogwood and Holly and the
third one will actually Point toward the inside of the reef. So we'll kind of
bounce it in like that and see how I'm just kind of overlapping, but but come
kind of coming down a little bit.

Three. Just have a nice tail there and cut it. And then we'll just find somewhere to attach it. You can attach it to any of the wires here or the reform wherever you can get that little wire to feed through. So right there. I've got it fed through. I'm just going to pull it nice and tight and I'll feed it through in another spot and I'll just do that a couple of times until I'm out of wire. So here it is all done. Like I said, you can take a close look all the way around the wreath. And if there are any skinny spots or you want to add more color and other areas just use your glue gun. I hope you found this tutorial.
