The Secret to Growing Short Paperwhites!
Everybody. I posted a couple weeks ago on Facebook that I would share the secret on how to force paperwhites to grow shorter than they're supposed to. They've always normally grow up to 30 inches tall like really tall Way Too Tall and most of the time a flop over my first date, but it's really easy to make them grow shorter. It's just alcohol. We're just going to use a little bit of it in our water, and the result will be paperwhites. Only grow to about half their Noms normal size amazing. And the reason why it works is all due to water stress. Alcohol makes it harder for the plant absorbing. So while the plant stuff is a slight lack of water, it is enough to reduce leaf and stem growth, but it doesn't affect the flower size or longevity of doubloons to start. You plant them as you normally would. I planted these about think about a week ago and I just put mine in decorative rocks and have been watering the normally and once Roots begin to grow and that usually happens about a week after you plant them. For out, whatever water is left in your container. And then we're going to replace it. With our secret cocktail. We're shooting for about a five percent alcohol solution from alcohols are different and have different alcohol percentages. So to save you from having to do the math yourself. I'm going to put a link to a handy percentage calculator and a description below. I'm making my 5% Solution by adding one part, alcohol to seven Parts water. So 1/2 cup alcohol. And three cups of water. It's not critical to get an exact 5% solution. Just make sure you stay well below 10.

You don't want to overdose your paper, white. I'm using this solution instead of plain water for all my water in. From this point on pretty simple, right? You'll still enjoy your flowers just as large for a great and long lasting a few as well. But the plan will be shorter and more proportion to the shallow containers. We oftentimes like to use for indoor growing Apollo inbox. I don't want you to kill your plants. So here are a few disclaimers. Do not use beer, wine, or any sugary, alcohol.
